Raja Rajamannar
Raja has been the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Mastercard since 2013 and also currently serves as the president of the company's healthcare business. Additionally, Raja serves as president of the World Federation of Advertisers, which represents roughly 90% of all global marketing communications spend.
Throughout his career, Raja has held C-level positions at various firms such as Anthem and Humana. At Mastercard, he oversaw the successful transformation of the company's identity for the digital age, including the development of Priceless experiential platforms and marketing-led business models.
Raja has received numerous recognitions for his work in the industry. Adweek recognized him as one of the industry's most tech-savvy CMOs, and Forbes listed him among the top 5 World's Most Influential CMOs. Business Insider also named him as one of the top 10 World's Most Innovative CMOs. In 2019, Raja was honored as Global Marketer of the Year by the World Federation of Advertisers, and he was named Marketer of the Year by the ANA Educational Foundation.
Raja's work has been featured in case studies at Harvard Business School and Yale School of Management and has been taught at more than 40 top management schools worldwide.
Raja holds a degree in chemical engineering from the College of Technology at Osmania University and completed his postgraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
